Bayern Munich wrap up Thiago deal

Bayern Munich have pipped Man Utd to the signing of Spanish starlet Thiago Alcantara. The player joined Bayern from Barcelona and will reunite with his former manager Pep Guardiola.

The talented midfielder had always been Bayern's top priority for the summer and a deal has now been agreed for the Spaniard.



"FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich have reached an agreement over the transfer of the player Thiago Alcantara to the German club for a total of 25 million (euros)," read a statement on the Bayern website.



"This agreement also includes holding a friendly match between the two teams, which will be played in the next four years."
