Feyenoord eye loan move for Man City striker John Guidetti

Dutch Eredivisie club Feyenoord have opened the door for Manchester City striker John Guidetti to to return on loan to the club.The Swedish youngster enjoyed a sensational campaign at the Eredivisie club during the 2011/12 season, where he notched up 20 goals in just 23 league appearances.

  • He was tipped by many to make a start for the Manchester City first team upon his return to the Etihad Stadium, but he failed to do so.



    The new Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, who is still in the search for a new striker, is yet to decide what role the 21-year-old will play for his side in the upcoming season.



    Feyenoord's Technical Director Martin van Geel told Dutch newspaper AD: "Guidetti is in our hearts, De Kuip is always open for him. If we have good luck, we naturally would want him a lot."
