English Premier League side Arsenal are considered as favourites to land the Liverpool striker according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
The Reds want away star Luis Suarez has been the main topic of speculation over the past few weeks since he expressed his desire to leave the Merseyside. Reports suggest that La Liga giants Real Madrid are only willing to fish out £25 million for the Uruguay International which is £15 million less than what the Anfield side are presently demanding.
Arsenal have had a £30 million plus add on bid rejected by Liverpool last week but the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is ready to induce the Reds in selling their star by coming up with an improved offer.Â
Liverpool are hanging on to their star striker insisting that the player has no intention of leaving the club but Luis Suarez clearly stated that he would like a switch from Anfield mainly due to his desire to play in the Champions League.
Arsenal have now set Suarez as their major target as they continue monitoring the situation involving Wayne Rooney and Gonzalo Higuain.
As the Spanish giants Real Madrid do not regard the striker worth a price of  £40 million, this would surely rule them out of the fight for th signing of the Uruguayan.
Suarez is assumed to be eager for a switch to the North London based club after recently stating that he was flattered with rumours linking him with the Gunners.
