Arsenal To Make Fresh Bid For Suarez

Arsenal To Make Fresh Bid For Suarez

19 July 2013 - 18:34

According to Goal, Arsenal is all set to test the resolve of Liverpool by placing a renewed and increased offer of £35 million plus £5m in add-ons for the controversial Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez.

  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash
  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?

  • It is believed that the Gunners intend to bounce back as contenders for the sign of the 26-year-old, following the Merseysiders rejecting their initial bid of £35m up front plus £5m in the form of add-ons.

Arsenal’s boss, Arsene Wenger is apparently disillusioned by the long-running Higuain saga and he has now shifted his focus to acquiring Liverpool’s goal scoring ace.

Suarez has now become the top target for Wenger, who is also monitoring United’s Wayne Rooney. Wenger is looking to upgrade his attacking options ahead of the next season.

Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, has always been reluctant to part with his star striker. He compares Suarez’s value to that of Edinson Cavani. He, however, does not totally rule out the possibility of Suarez’s club exit this summer.
