Manchester United Target Cabaye

22 July 2013 - 00:31

Manchester United have set their sights on French international Yohan Cabaye who plays for Newcastle United. After facing disappointment in Thiago Alcantara’s case, United are determined to land Cabaye by placing an initial bid of £15million for the midfielder.

  • Chelsea expected to sell striker after loan deal
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • French big spenders Monaco and PSG are already chasing the player who has had an average season with the Magpies.

Cabaye still has three more years with Newcastle in his present contract and has netted 10 Premier League goals in two seasons. Moyes, who is also targeting Spain’s Cesc Fabregas, will look to convince the former Arsenal man.

The Old Trafford side have reportedly improved their offer for Cesc to £30 million. It is also understood that Fabregas would receive a bumper rise in his weekly wage of £100,000, should the deal be a success.
