Kiessling commits future to Leverkusen

<strong>Bayer Leverkusen striker Stefan Kiessling has signed a two year contract extension that will kepp him at the Bundesliga club till June, 2017.</strong>

  • The 29 year old has been linked to a host of top clubs this summer after emerging as the top scorer last season in the Bundesliga. The former Nuremberg striker netted 25 goals in 34 appearances last season, more than any other player in the Bundesliga.<br />

    Borussia Dortmund, Fenerbahce and Fiorentina are among the clubs interested in his signature this summer.<br />

    Kiessling said, shortly after signing the contract," "I'm really happy. Bayer is my club and I feel really comfortable here. The environment is also perfect for me from a sporting perspective. Now I want to make a contribution to make Bayer Leverkusen successful over the coming years."
