PSG defender keen on Zlatan stay

<strong>Brazil international and captainThiago Silva has urged his Paris Saint Germain team mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic to stay at the club amidst uncertainty over his future at the French capital club.</strong>

    He spoke to L'Equipe: "Will Zlatan stay? I don't know. You know how important he is.<br />

    "He is a winner and a friend too. We had a phone call but we didn't talk about his future. I hope he will stay."<br />

    The defender also talked about the team's chances in the Champions League the coming season. Silva is convinced that PSG need to keep the Ligue 1 top scorer to mount a serious challenge for European glory.<br />

    "We were close to beating Barcelona in the Champions League last season. This year I expect us to do well again and I think we could win the Champions League."
