Zlatan Ibrahimovic In Contact With Former Coach Carlo Ancelotti

28 July 2013 - 19:55

PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been strongly linked with a move away from his current club. He has been linked with a move to the Spanish giants, Real Madrid, where his ex-PSG coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has taken up the managerial position.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • In a recent interview with Tuttomercatoweb, he was quoted saying:

"Ancelotti? Yes, we have spoken, but only in small details”

The 31-year-old has triggered huge speculations and rumours regarding his future with the French outfit, following PSG’s €63 million move for Uruguayan Edinson Cavani. It was reported that Ibrahimovic wasn’t very happy playing alongside Cavani and was looking to move elsewhere.

The Sweden star has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu, where he would link up with his former coach Carlo Ancelotti, but going by his statement, it is clear that the striker is not keen on a transfer to Spain.

Moreover, Ancelotti himself has stressed that he will not target any PSG player for the summer transfer season, which makes Ibrahimovic’s move to Spain highly improbable now. However, the Sweden international holds Real Madrid high in opinion. He said,

"Real Madrid are a great team, they are preparing just like us and working hard. Los Merengues are playing well and have amazing players”
