Omar Abdulrahman lands Arsenal trial

05 August 2013 - 07:58

Highly rated youngster Omar Abdulrahman has been offered a one week trial at Arsenal. The UAE international has been given the opportunity to train with the Gunners' side as part of their buildup for the coming Premier League season.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • So far this year Arsenal have only signed Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer, but Abdulrahman could be the second to arrive as Arsene Wenger takes a closer look at the UAE international.
The player impressed during last year's Olympics tournament, with several European sides expressing an interest after Omar had been in action.
Al-Ain's president, Abdulrahman's team, confirmed a move would be in the offing: "Have we had an offer from Arsenal for him to come train? Then yes.
"We've also had offers from Spanish teams, and other teams also, but the player will decide ultimately."
