<strong>Spanish heavyweights Barcelona have reportedly made an official bid for Chelsea defender David Luiz according to Sky sources.</strong>
The Catalan giants have been rumored to be interested in the Brazil international and are now ready to test Chelsea's resolve to hold on to their star defender.<br />
New Blues boss Jose Mourinho has reiterated his desire to keep the versatile defender at the Stamford Bridge beyond this summer and is not likely to be tempted into selling him to the La Liga giants.<br />
Bayern Munich were also widely reported to be looking to sign Luiz but Pep Guardiola quashed all such claims earlier last week. <br />
"He's not coming to Munich," he said. "We've got four or five central defenders.<br />
"There is no truth to the speculation."<br />
David Luiz signed a new five year agreement with the Londoners last summer and is key to Mourinho's plans for the coming season.
