AC Milan admit defeat in Keisuke Honda chase

08 August 2013 - 10:30

AC Milan appear to have given up on a transfer seeing Japanese international Keisuke Honda making a move from CSKA Moscow to the San Siro. Despite the player heading into the last six months of his contract, the Russian outfit are demanding a massive 8 million Euros for Honda.

  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • AC Milan's vice president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that a deal appears to be on the rocks.

“Has Honda almost vanished? I think so, with the last telephone call,” Adriano Galliani quipped. “The CSKA President has told me that he won’t sell.

“Therefore we will stay as we are. There are not a lot of transfer gifts out there for boss Massimiliano Allegri.”
