The Reds manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that a deal to sign Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa is well and truly over.Liverpool had earlier made a bid of £21.8m for the Brazilian, before the player distanced himself from speculation of a move from the La Liga outfit.<br /><br />However, Rodgers has revealed that a deal is unlikely to happen, before denying reports linking the Merseyside club with a move for Valencia's Aly Cissokho.<br /><br />Rodgers said: "I believe Costa has signed an extension.
"There's nothing in terms of players to add.<br /><br />"We've signed players early on and we hope to sign some more before the end of the window. In the meantime, there's nothing at the minute."<br /><br />He added: "There's nothing on the Cissokho story."
