Napoli star Marek Hamsik believes that Liverpool stopper Martin Skrtel would a be good addition to their squad for the coming season.

 • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
 • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
 • The 26 year old midfielder forged together a terrific partnership with the recently departed Edinson Cavani for Napoli last season helping them to a second place finish in the Serie A.
New Napoli boss Rafael Benitez has been provided with a big transfer kitty after the sale of Edinson Cavani to Paris Saint Germain earlier this summer. The former Reds boss has already signed Gonzalo Higuain and secured Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina's services on a season long loan deal.
Benitez is understood to be mulling over a move for the Slovakian defender and Hamsik has backed his club's chase to sign him.
He told Mediaset Premium on the ongoing rumours: "Skrtel to Napoli? I don't know, the market is not up to me.
"Sure, he is a great player and he would be good for Napoli."
