Bayern Munich midfielder Luiz Gustavo is looking forward to the prospect of making a big money move to Arsenal. The Brazilian defensive midfielder has been pushed down the pecking order at the Allianz Arena and has told reporters that he would be happy making a switch the Emirates.
The defensive midfielder appears to be Arsenal's top transfer target this window, with Arsene Wenger reportedly already agreeing a fee with Pep Guardiola's side last week.
"My contract with Bayern runs until 2015 but it is very important that I play first-team football to keep getting called up for Brazil," said Gustavo.
"I am in a very delicate situation at Bayern and this needs sorting out. I have personal and professional reasons to move.
"I have heard about the Arsenal interest. It's a big club we're talking about here so of course I'd like to play for them."
