The North London based club are on the search for a new centre-back following the sale of Steven Caulker to Premier League newcomers Cardiff City. &nbsp;<br />

Earlier this summer, Spurs failed in their attempt to land Romanian International Vlad Chiriches. Andre Villas-Boas has now turned his attentions to Adil Rami, who previously attracted immense interest from North London rivals Arsenal.<br />

The 27-year-old French International is keen on seeking a new challenge, and the La Liga outfit are ready to accept the sale of their talented defender for a fee in the region of &pound;9.5m&nbsp;.<br />

The former Lille star is said to the interested on a switch to White Hart Lane, but Fiorentina Sporting Director Eduardo Macia has been working hard to persuade the talented defender to join the Tuscan side. &nbsp;
