15 August 2013 - 01:43

Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen has pressed that his future will be resolved in the next fornight while confessing his interest in a switch to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Dane has one year left on his contract with the Eredivisie side, reportedly inducing interest from a number of top European clubs in Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham.

  • The Danish International asserted yesterday that no talks have been held for a new contract with Ajax, with his priority being a switch to one of the Europe's elite leagues after refusing offers from Russia.

He told BT.dk: "Tottenham are a great club. I know this because of Jan Vertonghen. It is good club which is interesting, but there has not been anything yet.

"We'll find out in two weeks. There are to my knowledge no negotiations right now either with a new club or Ajax.

"There are Russian clubs that have called and made bids for me. I did not take much time to refuse. I would like to join one of the five major leagues. I have the view that I do not want to go to Russia at my age. I do not look at the money."
