Napoli manager Rafa Benitez has been in contact with his former club Chelsea regarding a move for Nigerian midfielder John Obi Mikel. The player is reportedly ready to make a move to the Serie A.
Since the emergence of Chelsea star Ramires in the first team, Mikel has struggled for regular first team football last year and is reportedly angry that new manager Jose Mourinho prefers the Brazilian as his first choice holding midfielder.<br />
The Nigerian midfielder will request talks with Napoli should the Italian side make a suitable offer. It is understood that Chelsea will only listen to offers that are greater than 15 million Euros.
