Arsenal set to make a second bid for Yohan Cabaye?

Arsenal are reportedly set to make a second bid for Newcastle United's midfielder Yohan Cabaye, according to the Mirror.

  • The Gunners made an initial bid earlier last week, which was swiftly rejected by the Magpies manager Alan Pardew deeming it as 'unacceptable'.<br /><br />According to the Mirror, Arsene Wenger will make a renewed transfer offer in the region of £20m for the talented French International, as he looks to add more quality to his squad.<br />

    Cabaye has been left out of the Magpies squad for the last two games amid talk of a move to the North London outfit, and Pardew admitted the fact that the French star could leave St. James Park before the conclusion of the summer transfer window. <br /><br />The French International is thought to be willing to a switch to the Emirates, as the Gunners are closing in on Champions League qualification following their 3-0 victory over Fenerbahçe at Istanbul in Turkey.
