Newcastle United are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of their former star striker Demba Ba from Chelsea on a season long-loan deal, as per Sky Sports.
The Senegalese International left the Magpies for the Blues during the winter transfer window in January for a fee of £7m , but has since failed to secure a starting berth at the Stamford Bridge.
Demba Ba's position with the Blues looks bleaker by the day, as Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho left the striker out of the travelling squad for the goalless draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Though reports claim that manager Alan Pardew is keen on signing the talented striker on a temporary deal, it is understood that no enquiry has been made by the club in relation to a transfer for the player with Chelsea.
