Vlad Chiriches to join Tottenham

Vlad Chiriches will today agree a deal to see him move to the Premier League with Tottenham. The Romanian international centre back will pen a four year contract at White Hart Lane and looks set to be Jan Verthongen's new defensive partner at Spurs.

The 23-year-old has flown into London today for a medical and will discuss personal terms with Spurs. The news of Chiriches' imminent signing comes as Tottenham look set to sell Gareth Bale to Real Madrid whilst Erik Lamela also will agree a deal seeing him join Tottenham.<br />

Chiriches will join Spurs in a reported&nbsp;&pound;8.5m transfer from Staeua Bucharest.
