Aurelio: lets beat Fulham

Aurelio: let's beat Fulham

08 November 2007 - 23:53

Fabio Aurelio has insisted that Liverpool will hit form against Fulham and pick up another three points to help push their Premiership campaign. Liverpool's home campaign is not as impressive as their away form, and Aurelio calls for some better home form progress.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • After hammering Besiktas in a crucial Champions League tie at Anfield 8-0 on Tuesday night, the 28-year-old Brazilian is eager to reproduce same form in the league.

"Yes, we did play very well against Besiktas and we can take a lot of confidence from that," Aurelio said on the club’s official website.

"But in football the most important game is the next one and for us that means Fulham on Saturday so we must now concentrate on that.

"When you have a result like the one on Tuesday night you have to take it in your stride and not get carried away because we have many important games coming up in the Premier League and in the Champions League and we cannot afford to be distracted.

"We have had a lot of draws in the Premier League and our form at home has not been as good as we would have liked.

"So we have to focus on Fulham and look to use the advantage of playing at home in our favour."
