Cisse awaits Arsenal game

Cisse awaits Arsenal game

08 November 2007 - 23:56

Reading's summer signing Kalifa Cisse has insisted that they will be treating Monday's Premiership game against Arsenal as a "cup game". Cisse believes Reading are in a fantastic position to grab a point against the league leaders.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Frenchman told setantasports.com: “They (Arsenal) have been very impressive, to my mind they are one of the best teams in Europe.

“They play a superb football and have super young players, a real group of players who know each other from having been playing together for a long time. For sure it is going to be a very difficult match.

“Reading winning the game is possible because we will play at home. Arsenal will have played a Champions League game in midweek, but I don’t think that they will be tired.

“We can grab a point or even more but we have to play with our means. We are going to play it like a cup game.”
