Fabio Borini completes Sunderland loan switch

Italian youngster Fabio Borini has agreed a loan transfer to Sunderland. Liverpool have told the player that he is free to join the Black Cats and link up with fellow countryman Paolo Di Canio for the season.

Borini has struggled to dislodge the likes of Luis Suarez and Iago Aspas from the Liverpool first team in recent months and his manager Brendan Rodgers has decided to loan the player for more first team exposure.<br />

Borini has passed a medical this morning and will be officially presented to the press at approximately 4pm this afternoon, having penned a one year loan deal this morning.
