Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke sidelined for six weeks

Aston Villa's Christian Benteke is expected to be out of first team action for six weeks having suffered from a hip injury during the club's 1-0 victory over Norwich City in the Premier League last weekend.

  • The 22-year-old forward was substituted during the first half of the Villa's encounter against Norwich City at Carrow Road.<br /><br />Following the the club's ashaming 4-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the Capital One cup, a tweet from Villa's official site read: <em>"Paul Lambert confirms Christian Benteke will be out for four-six weeks.
