31 July 2007 - 23:24

Thiago Motta is set to leave Barcelona after Frank Rijkaard informed him there was no place for him in the starting lineup. The talented Brazilian midfielder is admired by the fans who like his ability to battle for every ball. AC Milan are among the sides linked with his signature.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • Motta has been a regular in previous seasons but the arrival of Yaya Toure is sure to mean the end of his spell as a first team player. Thiago Motta will continue to train with the side until a new club is found. Some of his potential suitors could be in England, with Everton and Arsenal linked with the 24 year old.
