La Liga giants Real Madrid have reportedly been linked with a move for Manchester City's star midfielder David Silva, according to The Daily Star.

The talented Spaniard is considered as the perfect player to fill the void left in the midfield department, following the departure of Mesut Ozil to Arsenal during the summer.<br />

The report suggests that Los Blancos may have to shell out a transfer fee in the region of £50m, if they wish to acquire the services of the Spaniard at the Bernabeu. <br />

David Silva's fellow teammate Sergio Aguero has also been associated with a switch to the Spanish outfit.
