Ashley Cole will not take part in England's crucial World Cup qualifier with Montenegro at Wembley on Friday. The FA has confirmed that Kieran Gibbs has been called up as a replacement and that Baines is likely to start as left back.
The Chelsea defender was brought off during the Blues' 3-1 victory over Norwich last weekend and will now be missing from action for international duty for the qualifier.<br />
It is also expected that Cole will play no part in next Tuesday's game versus Poland for World Cup qualification.
