Manchester City have won the race over fellow league rivals Chelsea and Liverpool to acquire the signature of Feyenoord midfielder Rodney Kongolo, as per The People.

The talented teenager who is considered as the 'next Patrick Viera' will join the Citizens shortly following an agreement over a compensation fee with the Eredvisie club.



Kongolo is regarded as one of the best talents in the country, and is believed to have the potential to eminate France Legend Patrick Viera, who will play a big part in the player's progress as he is in control of City's setup at the development stage.
