Arsene Wenger are reportedly in early stage talks to sign Lazio forward Miroslav Klose on an 18 month contract.
Klose had recently admitted of his interest to play in the Premier League and the 35-year-old's representatives are in search of interest from Premier League clubs for the talented German striker.
According to a report from CaughtOffside, the Gunners manager will go against his usually policy of offering one year deals to players aged above 30, and sign the Veteran striker on an 18 month contract come the winter transfer window in January.
Klose could be the perfect back-up option to Olivier Giroud who has handled all the burden this season, and would easily intergrate with an Arsenal side consisting of a number of German players.
The opportunity to play alongside the likes of Lukas Podolski, Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker could lure Klose in making a switch to the North London outfit.
