Everton tracking Swansea starlet Ben Davies

27 October 2013 - 15:26

Welsh left back Ben Davies is being scouted by Roberto Martinez's side Everton. The Toffees are considering possible replacements for Leighton Baines, who has again been tipped to make a January transfer move to Manchester United.

  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?
  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • Davies has burst onto the scene for his local club in recent months and is now the first choice left back at the Welsh side. Michael Laudrup has tipped Ben Davies for a bright future already and there has been some suggestion of a potential move to another Premier League team.

The 20-year-old Welsh international has already played eight times for his country and has impressed many with some sterling displays for Laudrup's side.

The Toffees could sign Davies for around £7.5 million if they sell Baines for the reported £15 million asking price that Everton have slapped on the England international should the player make a move come January.
