Man Utd plot £25m move for Miralem Pjanic

29 October 2013 - 23:12

Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing AS Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic during the January transfer window, according to The Daily Express.

  • Chelsea set to sign Crystal Palace star for £47m
  • Man Utd aiming to beat Liverpool to 25yo midfielder
  • The talented star from Bosnia and Herzegovina has been attracting interest from a number of top European clubs after turning in a number of excellent displays for the Serie A leaders this season.

Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur had earlier failed to sign Pjanic during the summer as Roma had no intentions of allowing the player leave the Italian capital.

However, with Pjanic having refused to pen to paper on a new contract extension, Giallorossi could be prepared to offload their star midfielder during the upcoming winter transfer window

The Red Devils boss David Moyes is keen on acquiring the player's services, and would require a transfer fee of around £25 million to seal the deal.
