Shinji Kagawa eyes January Man Utd exit

03 November 2013 - 04:21

Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa is ready to quit Old Trafford in the January transfer window in search of regular first team football. The player is concerned about his World Cup fitness next summer.

  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash
  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?

  • Kagawa has been told by Japan Football Association representatives to consider a move elsewhere to ensure that he is fit for the showpiece competition next summer; reportedly the player is believed to be eager for a return to the Bundesliga to prove his fitness.

The player, who has previously hinted that he would like to return to his former club Borussia Dortmund, has also attracted the interest of Wolfsburg in recent weeks.

David Moyes has so far preferred the likes of Tom Cleverley in his midfield to Kagawa, and the Japanese international is reportedly now ready to quit Old Trafford in search of more frequent first team action.
