Manchester City are reportedly eyeing a move for Argentine International Nicolas Otamendi from Primeira Liga giants Porto during the winter transfer window.
According to Goal.com,City scout Rob Newman was recently sent to Portugal to watch the central defender in action, with a view to a January bid for the player.<br /><br />Porto are expected to demand a transfer fee in the region of £25m for the player, and a move in the winter transfer window could be forthcoming from the Citizens.<br />
Manchester City Manuel Pellegrini, who added Martin Demichelis on a two-year deal from Atletico Madrid during the summer, is keen on strengthening his defensive line-up during the January transfer window.
