Man City monitoring Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic

13 November 2013 - 11:35

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly monitoring the progress of Inter Milan shot stopper Samir Handanovic, as per sources in Italy.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • The citizens manager is keen on adding a top class goalkeeper during the winter transfer window, following the dip in form of the club's number one Joe Hart this season.

The 29 year old Slovenian goalkeeper who joined the Serie A giants from Udinese last year for a transfer fee of £10m, has been in excellent form for the club, and had attracted interest from a number of high profile European sides.

Sources in Italy suggest the former Premier League champions would have to fork out a fee in the region of £20m to acquire the player's services.
