Dundee United starlet Ryan Gauld has been scouted by Man Utd. The 17-year-old, who is very highly rated by his current club, has been linked with a shock transfer to Old Trafford.
The attacking midfielder has been labelled "the Mini Messi" by fans and pundits alike and there remains an air of excitement about the long term prospects of the teenager.<br />
Man Utd are prepared to pay a massive £5million to secure the signing of Gauld, who has already appeared once for Scotland's under-21 side. The 17-year-old has been on the books at Dundee United since 2006 and the Scottish club are desperate to keep hold of their prized asset unless a top side is prepared to cough up a huge amount of money for the player.
