Serie A outfit Lazio are reportedly preparing a January loan move for Manchester City youngster John Guidetti, as per sources in Italy.
The talented Swede had an excellent spell at Eredivisie club Feyenoord during the 2011/12 season where he scored 20 league goals, and reports last week suggested that the striker could well make a temporary loan return to the Dutch club during the winter.
Lazio have reportedly joined the race to sign the youngster, who has failed to earn a first team place with the Citizens, having fallen behind the likes of Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic.
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is apparently keen on allowing the talented striker leave during the winter transfer window on a temporary basis, and this could benefit Vladimir Petkovic's side who are keen on signing a striker to bolster their strike force.
