  • Mata has started just eight games in all competitions this season, and is believed to be concerned about his place with the Spanish national side for next year's World Cup in Brazil.

According to the Sunday People, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have shown interest in acquiring the 25-year-old's signature, but manager Jose Mourinho has stressed that he is keen on keeping the former Valencia star at the club.

Juan Mata has been asked to adapt his game in order to start regularly ahead of the likes of Oscar and Eden Hazard.

The Blues are currently placed third in the league standings following their 3-0 win over West Ham United yesterday.
