According to The Mirror, the talented striker is being considered by the Gunners manager as a potential transfer target during the New Year, with fellow North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur also keen in acquiring the player's services.<br />

Marica was associated with a switch to Arsenal during the early stages of the season, until he opted to make a move to Spanish club Getafe on a free transfer.<br />

However, the Gunners' over dependence on their lone striker Olivier Giroud, has made manager Arsene Wenger think over making a January bid for Marica.
