Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a move for Basel's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah during the January transfer window, as per the player's agent.
The 21-year-old youngster was a thorn for the North London outfit, during their defeat to Basel in the Europa League last season, and has played a key part in his club's victories over Chelsea in the Champions League this campaign.<br />
The Daily Star claims that Spurs sporting director Franco Baldini was having a keen eye on the player as he scored the winner against Chelsea on Match Day 5 of the Champions League.<br />
"We know of Tottenham's interest, but as yet there has been no contact," Salah's agent Sascha Empacher said.<br />
"Of course, Mohamed's dream is to play for one of the top teams. "He can do that in England, but also Germany and Spain."<br />
Salah is currently valued around £20m by the Swiss outfit.
