Manchester United manager David Moyes is condident that forward Wayne Rooney will sign a new contract at Old Trafford. The forward scored two goals against Tottenham in the 2-2 draw in the Premier League at the weekend.
There has been some suggestion that the England international would be leaving for pastures new next summer, with Chelsea long term fans of the player. However, Man Utd manager Moyes is confident the player will continue to stay at United for the forseeable future:Â "I don't really know. We are fine and we are moving on from the summer and it will get done in good course. The appropriate people will talk when the time is right.
"He played well again. He deserves the adulation he is getting. He is playing well and scoring goals and when the moments come he is taking them."
