Arsene Wenger has distanced himself from rumours suggesting that he had made a move to sign a striker recently.
The Gunners boss has denied speculation linking the North London outfit with a January transfer offer for  Real Madrid starlet Alvaro Morata and Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato.
The Daily Express had earlier claimed that the Gunners had made a bid in the region of £6.5 million for the Brazilian striker and were closing in on a six-month loan deal for Los Blancos youngster Alvaro Morata.
Arsene Wenger dismissed all reports during today's press conference, by stating that he had not made contact with any player.
"There is no truth in that, that is all I can say. I have not been in touch with them." Wenger said in the press conference.
High flying Arsenal face off against Hull City in their next Premier League encounter at home on Wednesday.
