Arsene Wenger has distanced himself from rumours suggesting that he had made a move to sign a striker recently.
The Gunners boss has denied speculation linking the North London outfit with a January transfer offer for Real Madrid starlet Alvaro Morata and Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato.<br /><br />The Daily Express had earlier claimed that the Gunners had made a bid in the region of £6.5 million for the Brazilian striker and were closing in on a six-month loan deal for Los Blancos youngster Alvaro Morata.<br /><br />Arsene Wenger dismissed all reports during today's press conference, by stating that he had not made contact with any player.<br /><br />"There is no truth in that, that is all I can say. I have not been in touch with them." Wenger said in the press conference.<br /><br />High flying Arsenal face off against Hull City in their next Premier League encounter at home on Wednesday.
