La Liga giants Barcelona are reportedly monitoring the performances of Arsenal's in-form Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to the Daily Mail.

The talented midfield star has been in extraordinary form since the start of the season, and reports suggest that Barca manager Gerardo Martino had sent scouts to have a look at the player in recent games.<br />

However, the Gunners are unlikely to allow the sale of their young Welshman, with manager Arsene Wenger earlier insisting that the club are in a good financial position, and wouldn't think of selling the 22-year-old, even if a club were to come with a &pound;50m transfer fee.<br />

Aaron Ramsey has been a revelation for the Gunners this season, having notched up 13 goals and 6 assists in 22 appearances in all competitions.
