West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has dismissed reports suggesting that the club are looking to make a move for Seattle Sounders front man Obafemi Martins during the upcoming transfer window.
The Hammers manager is in the market for a new striker during the winter transfer window, and has been linked with the likes of Diego Forlan, Diego Milito, Andre-Pierre Gignac and Bafetimbi Gomis in recent weeks.<br />
However, Allardyce has clearly indicated that he has no interest in securing the services of the Super Eagles striker in January.<br />
"I haven't heard anything about Oba," He said. "Everyone knows if we're in the market for a player, we'll be linked with everybody.<br />
"We'll deal with that - speculation is speculation."<br />
Obafemi Martins previously played in the Premier League on loan with Birmingham City in 2011.
