Seattle Sounders midfielder Clint Dempsey has undergone a medical at Fulham, ahead of a proposed January loan transfer to the Craven Cottage
Clint Dempsey was speculated to be interested in a temporary switch to Fulham during the MLS off-season, and this has been confirmed by the two parties as the transfer is in the pipeline.<br />
The Cottagers new manager Rene Meulensteen confirmed the news, and he was happy to have the talented USA international at the West London club on a second stint.<br />
Meulensteen also said that Dempsey would join his former club on a two-month loan deal, as the player aims to maintain his form for the upcoming World Cup finals in Brazil next year.<br />
Dempsey amassed 50 goals for Fulham in the Premier League in his last stint from 2007 to 2012.
