Manchester United are reportedly linked with a January move for Roma defender Mehdi Benatia, according to The Daily Star.

The Red Devils manager David Moyes is keen on adding the talented Morrocan international to the club's ranks as he wants the player to revitalise the ageing defensive setup.<br />

The 26-year-old has been linked with the Red Devils in the past, and The Daily Star reports that the club will once again renew their interest on the talented centre-half in order to make the defence-front have a much stable formation.<br />

Benatia signed for the Capital club from Serie A rivals Udinese during the summer for£11.3m.
