Tottenham plot January move for Mirko Vucinic

22 December 2013 - 23:31

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on securing the services of Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic during the January transfer window.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players

  • Spurs will make a move for the talented Montenegrin international during the New year, as they aim to strengthen their attack-front, following the poor show from summer signings Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado so far this season.

With Emmanuel Adebayor hitting form at the right time with three goals in his last two games, the club will be keen on adding an additional striker to complement the Togo international upfront, as they aim to earn a Champions League qualification spot this campaign.

Vucinic's first-team appearances at Juventus have been limited this season following the arrival of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente in the summer and could well be interested in making a switch away from the Serie A giants is search of new challenge come the winter transfer window.
