Clint Dempsey rejoins Fulham on loan

Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey has agreed to rejoin Premier League strugglers Fulham on a two-month loan deal.

  • Dempsey revealed that he was happy to return to the West London outfit, and he is eager to help the Cottagers in beating the drop.



    "It feels good to be back. This has always felt like my home in Europe," He said. "I just wanted to be back playing at the highest level, get back to top form and get back to helping the team where they are not where they want to be in the table."



    He also insisted that made the temporary switch in an attempt to get back to top form before the World Cup finals in Brazil next year.



    The 30-year-old USA international, who spent five and a half seasons with the Cottagers in his first stint, scored 60 goals in 225 appearances.
