Arsenal are reportedly readyig a January transfer offer for Atletico Madrid's star striker Diego Costa, according to Goal.

The Gunners manager is keen on adding an experienced and top -class centre-frward to his ranks in the January transfer window, to provide competition to the likes of Olivier Giroud, Nicklas Bendtner and Lukas Podolski up-front.<br />

According to the report, the Gunners believe that they can lure the forward to North London during the upcoming transfer window, and are readying a £30m bid for his services.<br />

Arsenal scouts were dispatched to watch the talented marksman in action on December 21, where he scored a brace as the club beat Levante by a 3-2 scoreline in the La Liga.
