Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has denied reports of a flurry of transfer bids having been made for Spain international attacking midfielder Juan Mata. The player is disillusioned with life at Stamford Bridge and is contemplating a January transfer move away from the Blues.
With Manchester United and Inter Milan both amongst the many clubs holding a long term interest in the player, Mata is sure to have no shortage of options should Chelsea decide to sell him.<br />
However, incredibly Chelsea manager Mourinho has now informed the press that no bids have been tabled for the player: "I keep saying that I want him to stay.<br />
<p align="left">"There isn't offers. We have no offers. When I said 'I don't want him to leave', he was focused on that and not focused on when I said 'the door is always open'."
