After watching West Ham slump to another defeat against Manchester City yesterday, the Hammers' manager is concerned about his club's recent run of results and told reporters yesterday that his club need to improve if he is to have a chance of keeping his job at Upton Park.

The Hammers have been in very poor form of late, winning just 1 game in their last 10 in the Premier League and yesterday slumped to a 6-0 defeat to Man City in the Capital One Cup semi-final.
Despite receiving the public support of club owners David Gold and David Sullivan, the Hammers' manager has faced the wrath of the West Ham support, who have demanded that the former Bolton and Newcastle coach be replaced immediately.
West Ham face a tricky looking visit to Cardiff City in the Premier League this weekend, and many are tipping Sam Allardyce to lose his job should his side lose this game.
Speaking after the defeat to Man City, Allardyce said of his future: "You can’t keep losing football matches as a manager, that’s for sure.
"We know the reasons why, but even those reasons will not save you in the end.
"We must not lose confidence in our ability to get out of this hole we’re in at the moment.
"We’re going to start getting ready for Cardiff on Saturday and digging ourselves out of the bottom end of the Premier League."
